How can I get the pieces of glass from glass beads out of my fingers and hands? I was hoping to find an effective way of getting the almost microscopic remnants of glass out of my fingers and hands after hand sewing one-by-one the small glass beads that are usually used for jewlrey and come in plastic as well. I've been getting the clear beads and using the Krylon Plastic paint to make a few different colors but the paint is heavy in some spots and the clear bead sticks out in other spots. Does anyone know how to get glass rod for beads to adhere to pure copper wire? I am using pure copper wire in sculpture and would like to add some glass accents to the ends of the 12 guage wire. The problem is that I can not get the molten glass to take to the hot copper so I can spin and wrap it. The wire is clean and abraded and I have tried acid etching it also.
