Where can I buy chunky wooden beads in Singapore?

I am looking for wooden beads which can be all sorts of shapes and colours, and I would prefer them to be around 1-2cm in diameter. I am only looking for stores in Singapore where I can personally see the beads. Please state clearly the shop name for easy reference. Thanks!

1. Have you tried Spotlight at Plaza Singapura? They have a fairly big art and craft section.
2. Forget Art Friend or all these crap. if u walk around clarke quay area you will see a lot of wholesale stores. These are the wholesale centres for accessories including beads in singapore. I wont exactly tell u where u have to do some research, but its very near there, open up the strrt directory. have personally been there before and its really much cheaper than at art friend. They only open during office hours and if it looks like a wholesale centre from outside, just walk in and try ask around. If u Thats where most small local retailers get their stuff. Pay particular attention to north bridge road and circular road. thats abt as much as i can remember.
