How do I re-glaze an old Victorian sash window?
It appears to be have been done previously without wooden beading, just held in place with a substance that is as hard as plaster filler. Also the old glass does not appear to be inserted into the wooden frame. There is not much room for wooden beading. How do you recommend I glaze it?

- You need to carefully, with a putty knife, pry the old ''glazing'' off that is around the glass, once you have removed the old glazing the glass should be held in place with little 3/16 metal triangles called ''glass points'', if there are none of these you need to go to your local hardware store and ask for them, the size of the glass will determine how many you will need and the clerk at the store should know that, then also buy a small tub of window glazing or you could use a silicone caulk.
