Glass Beads For Sale

Where can I buy pretty glass beads?

Or just any nice beads for making necklaces and stuff. I think they plastic ones from the dollar store look cheap and ugly. I want to make necklaces and bracelets and stuff. Thanks :)

1. Try Hobby Lobby or Garden Works if you have one of those chains near you.
2. if you live in ohio or PA, you can go to Patcatans or michaels. i lived in north-west indiana and they had a hobby lobby which was nice. i agree with you on the plastic beads.
3. Wal Mart has gotten on board with glass beads and has a wonderful selection. They also have all the other materials you will need, such as beading string or beading wire, clasps etc. You could also try Michaels Hobbies and Crafts if you have one in your area. The Beading magazines also contain 100's of addresses to order beads from.
4. Any craft store with be most pleased for your patronage.
5. Check out Kandras beads. I put it in search and came up with "boo coo" places to check out besides theirs and and they usually have books with instructions.

7. As another poster stated, I like www.firemountaingems.com and also www.jewelrysupply.com. Fire mountain has a huge selection and great prices but sometimes I find the same things at jewelry supply less expensive. I think both are great. Also you may just want to start out going to Walmart, Michael's or JoAnn Fabrics. They too all have glass beads and this way since you are just starting out you could pick up some of the other materials you'll need right away to get started. Good Luck and Have fun!
