Glass Beads For Sale

How should I clean an aquarium with glass beads and small rocks?

Like, with tanks with gravel you use a gravel vacuum, but that wouldn't work with glass beads and small rocks. How can I clean the debris in the rocks with out making a huge cloud in the water?? It's a small tank, 10g. Thanks

1. I have a 10 gal and I still just use the gravel vaccum and then i try to scoop some of the junk out with a big spoon.... it has always worked for me... the more often you clean it the easier it is.
2. The gravel vacuum works with pretty much any bottom except when there is lots of java moss (It sucks it in and gets clogged!) It is surprisingly strong so will jiggle the glass beads and rocks enough to get the gunk out.
3. A normal gravel vacuum should work just fine with glass beads and small rocks. I've used them with substrate similar to what you described and it worked perfectly.
